2024 NGO Fellowship Program

NGO Fellowship Program 2024 (29th September – 27th October 2024)

About the Fellowship

After a successful first edition in 2023, Taiwan AID is pleased to announce the second edition of its Fellowship Program.

You can read an article or watch a video about the first edition of the Program to know more about our project!

The NGO Fellowship Program is a one-month long opportunity for NGO professionals from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia (including Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia) to gain first-hand experience in the Taiwanese NGO sector. The Program includes workshops, a three-week NGO placement, and roundtable events with the fellows’ Taiwanese counterparts.

Key Program Features

- NGO Placement:

The fellows will be placed in Taiwan’s NGO according to their professional backgrounds. The host NGOs will welcome the fellows for three weeks, where they will be able to engage in daily operations to get to know Taiwanese NGOs. Depending on the nature of the NGOs, fellows will engage in diverse activities, such as event preparation, project management, or fundraising activities.

- Workshop:

The fellows will attend a four-day workshop at the start of the program. The workshop aims to deepen the fellows' knowledge of NGOs

- Roundtable event:

The fellows will join a roundtable event during the program. The fellows and the Taiwanese NGO professionals will have the opportunity to share their practical experiences and observations in the field.

- Future project collaboration:

Fellows will be expected to propose a project draft at the end of the program for future cooperation in their home countries. The program will give fellows and host NGOs opportunities to explore future cooperation.
